Equipping & Empowering Worship Leaders Worldwide
I come from a community where Student Leadership in Youth Ministry is encouraged and expected. This naturally causes students to lead, play and help plan worship experiences every week. I want to set out and start a dialogue to better serve our churches youth ministries by having student leaders. This means asking and answering some …

A few years ago, I read Tom Rath’s book ‘How Full is Your Bucket’ and it changed the way I showed appreciation to my team. The basic premise of the book is to fill your team, family and friend’s ‘Bucket’ (or need for acknowledgment for their works & what they mean to you) on a …
We’re all imperfect beings. And let’s face it: things go wrong. Leading worship, we have all at one time: gone off click, sang the wrong verse, dropped a wireless pack, had straplocks fail, dropped sticks, hit a wrong note, unplugged our instruments… The list goes on. It seems like every time this happens, it happens …
College is obviously a very formative time for people and for many different reasons. There are all kinds of new experiences waiting at college: some good, some bad, and definitely some ugly! I think most of us can agree that, as a follower of Christ, college is a very formative time for our relationship with …

This is not going to be a technical piece, so if you’re looking for advice on lighting design and which flavor haze causes your vocalists the least amount of anguish (1 part raspberry surprise, 1 part Wise Man Myrrh makes Holy Lord Anointing Fire Haze, perfect for ushering in the Holy Spirits) look in the …
“You crown the year with your goodness; your paths drip with abundance The wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills are robed with joy. The pastures are clothed with flocks and the valleys covered with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing.” Psalm 65:11-13 Whether or not our year was, in our eyes, a year of …
Seeking. Want to hear something amazing? Are you ready? God is seeking true worshipers! God Himself, the Creator of music, the Creator of fingers, ears and hands, tongues, toes and feet…the Creator of the angels, the same angels who sang with voices that He gave as they praised the wonder of “let there be light” …

I understand in this day and age (online giving and what not) that not every church has an offering time during the service. But for those that do, I think we sometimes view it as a disruption to the “flow” of the rest of worship. Before I get to the solution of my title’s problem, …
