Auckland, NZ: 27 August. Many of us serve faithfully in our local churches; in that context, it’s often a pull and pressure to define ourselves by our roles in ministry or service. In the busyness of weekly ministry, we often forget that God has called us in to community with each other. We are able to accomplish so much more when we support and champion each other. We’re better together. The church collective one day is a weekend-long event with regionally influential churches designed for worship leaders, musicians, creatives, and tech teams; we will provide the practical training many have come to expect from The Church Collective, with times to worship together as well. It’s our hope that you can attend and bring back tools to do even better what you do in your ministry context. We want you to have the time to connect with your team in deeper ways so that you can better serve your church. It’s our prayer that you leave with a greater vision of who God is, who He says you are, and who He’s called you to be. We’re excited to meet you and your community, grow together, and share this conference with you in 2016. Join us on the facebook event page too!MAIN SESSIONS

AJ Binnie
AJ has a lengthy history of music and worship leading. Growing up in a Baptist family of musicians exposed him very early on to singing and song writing with an emphasis on bringing both into Sunday services for congregations. He has now been leading worship for almost 30 years from small gatherings, camps, the local church and at national conferences. His passion for worship music is outworked in his song writing and deep desire to see people engage with God through the language of music. He hopes that music will etch into people’s memory throughout the week so they find themselves singing scripture to uplift them, and praise to lift Him up.
