Why Should I Focus on Doing Church Online

March 16, 2020 //  by Ryan Loche

There are some important things to remember when we’re trying to leverage social media and the internet to do church online.  Here are the thoughts discussed in this video:
  • The value and importance of engaging people on a regular basis throughout the week in preparation for not meeting on the weekend.  The members of our church will want to engage with us.  Post daily to help members of our church connect with us.
  • Making sure there’s a clean giving portal set up for our churches so people can still give their tithes and offerings.
  • How to go about using the premiere feature on facebook and youtube to generate some buzz for members of your church to engage with you.
  • How we can go about streaming our services with just our phones.
  • Why executing and going online is important instead of being too concerned about the quality and not going online in the first place.
  • Putting together a worship set for the steam and how to go about taking requests from church members.
  • Joining the church collective community over on facebook for real time help.
